Over the past few years, I’ve had ups and downs with my skin. I tried medication, Cetaphil and all sorts of creams to get rid of breakouts. I would blame most of it on hormones I guess! This is why I am super excited Essano products exist. I’ve been using them for a few months now. Essano products are certified organic, made in New Zealand, their packaging is biodegradable and cruelty-free. You can find most products at supermarkets.
Below are a few of my favourites which have transformed my hair and skin which include shampoo, conditioner, mist toner, night eye creme, exfoliator, body lotion and hair serum.
Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner
My hair is rather damaged and dry due to dying it different colours years ago. With other brands my hair becomes aggravated because of harsh chemicals. This shampoo and conditioner are sulphate free for stressed hair and I have noticed the difference with less irritation on my scalp. I highly recommend it for those with sensitive scalps or dry hair. RRP $16.
Argan Oil Hair Treatment
I just bought this yesterday to add to my Essano collection. With such thick hair, I always need a good treatment. Especially since I straighten my hair during the week. Moroccan Argan Oil, Macadamia and Pomegranate Oils, Aloe Vera and Plant Proteins are combined in this bottle of magic. A few drops and my hair was smooth again especially when I give it a break from using a hairdryer. RRP $15.99.
Gentle Facial Exfoliator
Winter is the time of dry skin and breakouts so I love to use this Rosehip exfoliator at least once or twice a week to combat bad skin. The exfoliator uses fine granules so it doesn’t feel harsh on the skin you only need a small amount as well. Key ingredients in this are Rosehip oil and Alo vera so it feels good and smells lovely as well. My skin is so smooth afterwards! Price ranges at about $14.99.
Rosehip Mist Toner

While other toners can smell like a bunch of chemicals this one is refreshing and easy to use by lightly spraying on the face and neck area (with eyes closed). Some ingredients inclue Rosehip Oil, Kakadu plum and green tea to refresh, soothe and hydrate. I have noticed the difference after using it a couple of times a week and it dries quickly as well. RRP $12.99.
Night Eye Cream
Now I have quite dark circles under my eyes almost one for each year of University! This night cream uses Vitamins E and A. With other eye cream products they made the area around my eyes sensitive and dry. But not this cream. I dab a small amount under my eyes after my cleansing routine to combat racoon looking eyes after looking at a computer screen all day at work. It really lifts the skin under the eyes using natural products. RRP $19.99.
Hand Creme
During those cold days, my hands can get pretty dry if they aren’t given some good quality hand cream. My review of this hand cream is it’s effective on the fingertips and those dry areas in between fingers since I type a lot and do boxing. It feels replenishing and absorbs in the skin quickly. Ingredients include Rosehip oil, Shea butter, and Jojoba Oil. RRP $14.99.
Body Lotion
Last but not least the wonderful Coconut Body Lotion. Especially during the cold season, it’s great to use this to restore skin when it’s dry or worn out. By using this daily it creates luscious feeling skin all over using Coconut, Frangipani and Paw Paw ingredients. As the name says it’s bliss! RRP $16.99.
I’m eager to keep adding to my collection with these great products. Sorry wallet but you have to take care of your skin right. Have you used Essano yet? If not give it a try you won’t regret it!
